Invocation for Inanna's Ancient Priestxes

O you holy ones of Inanna
You Priestxes of ancient times
We call to you

To the kurgarra, musicians of the goddess
Shaking and stamping and strumming
Making sounds pleasing to Her ears

To the sal-zikrum, the women-men priests of the goddess
Dressed in your sacred garb

To the kulu’u, the kalum, who composed the hymns singing her praise
The fire of Inanna burned in your hearts
As she has burned in ours

To the assinnu, you lament singers of Inanna
Swaying and calling to Her
Grieving her as she hung underground

And to asushummir, made of light
Made of dust to slip between the worlds
Neither man nor woman
You descended between the gates
To bring the waters of life, the food of life,
To Inanna, so She could rise again

O you holy ones of Inanna
Alight like I am alight
In between like I am in between
Be here now

Ancestors, we call you home

Hail and welcome!

The mxgender Priestxes of
Come As You Are Pagan Congregation invite people of any and all genders — or none — to join us in honoring our beloved transcestors and ansxtors, especially those whose lives ended in violence. We will send them on their way on a wave of rainbow love and peace. We will be calling on Paneros; All Love, the Metagender deity of the Tetrad++ pantheon, to guide us in smashing the invisible barriers that keep us from love. You are invited to bring ancestral items and images to charge on the altar, and a treat to share for cakes and ale after we open the circle.

Our Mission:
The Rainbow Moon Circle is a safe and sacred space for all to explore the spectra of gender and identity. We honor the holistic experience of self-determined identity and its infinite intersections. We celebrate the glittering prism of Divine existence that is powerful, delightful, enthusiastic, playful, transformative, magickal, compassionate, and reverent. Live the Spectra!

Mxgender Mxer at Pagan Fest this Saturday!

Come As You Are to… The Rainbow Moon Circle Stitch-n-Witch—Saturday, May 7, 11am-noon, MLK Park, Berkeley— FREE!!!

Mxgender members of CAYA Coven will be hosting a crafty social hour at our CAYA Coven booth at the 13th Pagan Festival in Berkeley this weekend. Honoring this year's theme of Ancestral Wisdom, we will be decorating jackets, bags and whatever we wish to with colorful quilt patches of beloved Transcestors—our beloved dead of countless genders and sexes.

DIY! The sticker machine will be loaded and ready to make archival-quality stickers from your own photos, prints or drawings of beloved Transcestors, too. Tasty refreshments will be served and we will share stories of our loved ones and conspire about creative ways to support living members of our vast and varied communities.

They do not rest in peace—THEY RISE IN POWER!
We hope you will come on over and introduce yourself, enjoy a snack, and get crafty! Live the Spectra!

Blessed be.

Paneris Fire Song

Last November, we held a Release ritual in honor of Transgender Day of Remembrance. It was heavy, joyous work. We worked with Paneris, and I wrote this song to them/him/her.

Paneris' Fire Song

I burn, I burn with the fire
Opening up to my desire
Love will meet me at the pyre
Love will meet me at the pyre

Please share and use this song, in honor of Paneris. All praise to Paneris, and the Tetrad++!
