A prayer for our siblings in the military

I light a candle and offer this prayer for our transgender and gender-non-conforming siblings in the US military:

May your efforts in every working day be recognized.
May your contributions to core and country be valued.
May you be honored and respected for who you are, and for the service you give.
May our country commit to you as fully as you commit to our country.
May you tap great wells of personal strength and community support in the face of adversity.
May your bodies, minds, and souls be seen through eyes of fierce protectiveness and pride by those who hold power in the structures of our military.

Blessed be your work.
Blessed be your bodies.
Blessed be your minds.
Blessed be your radiant and courageous souls!
